Let me introduce myself. I’m Jean Taylor, a well qualified and experienced running coach. More details about me HERE. I organise and coach various groups of runners in and around Andover. Some are open to the general public and others are arranged for private groups and organizations..
Those who belong to an Andover Runners group take part in a range of different running events: road races, fun runs, trail races, obstacle races at various distances from 5k up to the marathon and sometimes beyond or maybe no events at all. Some come for fitness, some come to help with weight loss, some come because they like socialising. Whoever you are and whatever your aims are you will find plenty of guidance, training, motivation and fun with other like minded people.
You are never too old. We welcome anyone from 18 years to 98 years – although at present we only have members up to 78 years.
Training takes place on tarmac, grass, gravel paths or athletic track depending on the venue.
