Training Courses

Ten week Courses for Beginners and Intermediate Runners:
Mondays at 11.00 am at East Anton Sports Ground Car Park
Mondays at 6.30 pm at Charlton Sports and Leisure Centre in summer and various nearby sites in winter

14 January to 5 April (18-22 Feb, half term)
13 May to 1 August (27-31 May, half term)
9 September to 22 November (28 Oct – 1 Nov, half term)

Dates of Training Courses run over eleven weeks in order to take a week off for schools’ half term holiday as many people cannot attend during this time.

Please note: We do not train on snow or ice.

Training Plans

Everyone will be given a training programme with back up runs to be undertaken. All will be expected to keep a training log on a dedicated web page. This helps with motivation.


Non members:
£5 per session,paid on the day, or
£4.50 per session for block of six sessions paid in advance (£27)
£4.00 per session for block of ten sessions paid in advance (£40)
£3 per session for members paid on day, or
Block of six £18
Block of ten £30

If you and your friends would like to attend training sessions but at a different time from those timetabled then contact me. As long as you can promise 10 people and agree to it being open to the public it may be possible to set this up.

If you wish to have private sessions, these can be arranged for a fee of £70 per session. These must take place within the Andover area. Please contact me by email stating number of participants, venue and preferred times.
